Patti Smith to Write Children's Book

Patti Smith has worked in nearly every medium. She is truly an artist in every sense of the word. Not only is she famous for her proto-punk music and poetry, but she's had exhibitions of photgraphs as well as drawings and paintings, she's modeled, been in film, and even chronicled her youth with Robert Mapplethorpe.

According to the Evening Standard, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee has said, "I want to write a book like Peter Pan or Alice in Wonderland or Pinocchio, a classic like the books I loved. That's my life goal." As though she hasn't accomplished enough...
