The Jersey Shore star will be opening for Britney for six dates during her fall tour.

"Britney is one of my favorite performers and certainly one of this generation's most influential artists," he said. "It's an amazing platform to connect with my fans around the country."

However, Pauly D is opposed to spinning any of Britney's songs before she goes on stage.

"A DJ should not play the artist's songs at her concert. I'll let her perform, let her shine 'cause it's her night," Pauly D said.

That's all good and fine. Not that Pauly D isn't talented, but really, is this a joke?
