Phoenix electronic dance music fans have been eating good over the past few months. Blockbuster festivals and events have delivered beats and bass from notable DJs almost every weekend at venues throughout the Valley.

This weekend, Arizona concert promoter Relentless Beats will launch its latest EDM experience, Better Together. The two-day music festival on Friday and Saturday at Wild Horse Pass Festival Grounds in Chandler will be headlined by EDM godfather Tiësto, Australian-born producer Fisher, British techno icon Carl Cox, DJ and rapper Kaytranada and South African deep house artist Black Coffee.

EDM artists and acts Bonobo, Neil Frances and Disclosure are also scheduled to perform DJ sets at the festival.

When and where is Better Together festival?

The Better Together festival is on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 22 and 23, at Wild Horse Pass Festival Grounds, 19593 S. 48th St. in Chandler.

What time is Better Together festival?

Gates open at 4 p.m. both days. Early arrival is highly recommended. The festival ends at midnight each evening.

Better Together tickets

Tickets to Better Together festival are available at wegobettertogether.com.

Single-day general admission tickets are $99 per person. Two-day general admission tickets are $189 per person.

Single-day VIP tickets are $199 per person. Two-day VIP tickets are $379 per person. Perks include a souvenir lanyard, express entry and access to exclusive viewing areas and premium restrooms.

Better Together festival age limits

Better Together is strictly an 18-plus event and you must be at least 21 years old to purchase or drink alcohol.

Re-entry is not permitted during the same day. Tickets can only be scanned for entry once per day.

Getting to Wild Horse Pass Festival Grounds

Wild Horse Pass Festival Grounds is located at 48th Street and North Loop Road in Chandler. To get there, take Interstate 10 to Wild Horse Pass Boulevard (Exit 162) and head west. Follow the signs to the parking lot and rideshare drop-off points.

Is there a shuttle service to Better Together festival?

Yes. Shuttle buses will be offered to and from Sunbar, 24 W. Fifth St., in Tempe each day. Pickup is available on a first-come, first-served basis. The shuttles will depart from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. with return service available from 11:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Fares can be purchased in advance and are $35 on Friday, $45 on Saturday or $75 for both days.

Where can I park at Better Together?

Parking at Wild Horse Pass Festival Grounds is free and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Premium parking close to the festival entrance is available in the Gold Lot for $29 per vehicle each day $55 for both days and can be purchased online.

Security at Better Together festival

A government-issued ID, such as an Arizona driver’s license or a U.S. passport, is required to pick up tickets or enter the festival. Event security will perform bag checks, pat-downs and metal detector screenings on all patrons upon entry.

Is Better Together festival a cashless event?

Yes. Better Together is a cashless event. Purchases can only be made using credit/debit cards or digital payment services like Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Food and drink

As is the norm for any Relentless Beats-produced music festival, food trucks and vendors will sell fast-casual options, including burgers, fries, sandwiches, pizza and other selections. Beer, wine, cocktails and soft drinks can be purchased at multiple bars at the event.

Where can I get water at Better Together festival?

Sealed bottles of water can be purchased from vendors. Refill stations will also be available throughout the festival and both CamelBak-style hydration packs and empty water bottles are allowed are permitted at Better Together.

Better Together after-party

The Showroom at Wild Horse Pass, 5040 Wild Horse Pass Blvd. in Chandler, will host the official Better Together after-party on Saturday from 11 p.m. to 3 a.m. Rapper and producer Channel Tres will perform a DJ set, with support from McWhite and Rare. Tickets are $40 per person.

Better Together festival bag policy

All bags are subject to search by event security. Clear plastic, vinyl or mesh bags are required and cannot be larger than 15 inches by 15 inches by 5 inches. One-gallon clear plastic freezer bags are acceptable. Clutch bags up to 5 inches by 7 inches by 2 inches.

What can I bring to Better Together festival?

The following items will be allowed at the Better Together:
  • Cell phones
  • Sunglasses and hats
  • GoPros and non-professional cameras
  • Glowing or illuminated costumes or jewelry
  • Sealed tampons, packs of gum, ChapStick, lip gloss, liquid sunscreen or cosmetics
  • Lighters and sealed packs of cigarettes
  • Disposable e-cigs or nicotine vape pens without refillable chambers or visible liquid
  • Guide dogs or service animals with current rabies certification

What items are prohibited?

According to the festival website, the following items aren’t permitted:
  • Illegal substances, drugs or drug paraphernalia
  • Outside food, beverage or alcohol
  • Weapons, pepper spray or fireworks
  • Large chains or spiked jewelry
  • Laser pens or pointers
  • Balloons, balls, Frisbees or any other projectile
  • Markers, pens, spray paint, stickers or flyers
  • Glass, cans, cups or coolers
  • Tents, large umbrellas or chairs
  • Unsealed cigarettes, lipstick, ChapStick, tampons or sunscreen
  • Professional camers, audio/video recording equipment or drones
  • Massagers or eye drops
  • Native American headdresses
  • Festival totems
  • Pets
