Country legends Alabama have been going strong for some 50 years. You'd think the band behind undeniable jams like "Dixieland Delight" and "Tennessee River" would manage to take a break every now and then. You know, use some of that "Mountain Music" money and just live a little, yeah?
But there's no rest for true country icons, and the band have announced an April 17 show at Phoenix's own Footprint Center. It's followed by a series of one-off dates and festival gigs across April, June, July and August. The band will be joined by country crooner Lorrie Morgan for the Valley shindig.
So what can we expect from Alabama in 2025? Well, the band tout that they "introduced rock style guitars, lights, pyrotechnics and sounds to the country audience that has inspired many of today's brightest country stars including Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan." If you aren't going to rest on your laurels, you may as well blow stuff up and jam out on $15,000 guitars.
Tickets are on sale Friday, Feb. 7 at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster.
