Late last year, local favorites Glixen were announced for the 26th edition of Coachella. Now, the shoegaze darlings have rounded out their spring itinerary with even more tour dates and a new release.

The outing begins on Feb. 20 with a hometown show at Zia Records' Bethany Home location. From there, Glixen will North America leading up to Coachella's two weekends (April 11 and April 18). Aside from Coachella, the band will also debut at two other big-time festivals, Noise Pop and Freakout Weekender. Suzy Clue and She’s Green will serve as tour openers.

Both the tour and Coachella come in support of the band's forthcoming EP, "Quiet Pleasures," which drops on Feb. 21 via AWAL and Wichita Recordings. The five-track effort is the culmination of the still-young Glixen, and finds the band growing ever more dreamy, adventurous, crunchy and evocative in their core sound.
