So we’re on the ground here at Phooson 2008. And, no, we’re not at the Pinal County Fairgrounds, where last year’s event was held.Though the, ahem, extremely lo-fi Phooson website hasn’t been updated in a year, the show is at Cricket Wireless Pavilion, which, semi-ironically, has no reliable wireless access for us to update from. So don’t expect quite the level of coverage we were able to bring you from Edgefest 2008. So, anyway, while the name Phooson might be totally nonsensical now that the annual show has dropped its original purpose of Phoenix and Tucson growing together it’s especially offensive the week of the Territorial Cup, aka the ASU-UA game.
