Package nostalgia concerts are predictable affairs: Artists perform a few of their hits, attempt to plug their latest endeavor, then give up the stage to the next old-timer trying to make a few bucks off your fond memories of their glory days. It's all very calculated, but that doesn't mean there isn't fun to be had. The five acts set to appear at Power 98.3's Boo Bomb show have hits to spare: Rob Base's "It Takes Two," Nice & Smooth's "Sometimes I Rhyme Slow," Slick Rick's "Children's Story," Big Daddy Kane's "Smooth Operator," and a even more that you'll at least half-remember. The best you can hope for is to catch these rappers on a good night, which is a good bet considering they've been performing these songs for decades now. Look into the future . . . Maybe Waka Flocka Flame and Tyler the Creator will be part of one of these shows someday.
