Jen Deveroux knows how to put on one hell of a party. Just look at the 30-something scenester’s wildly successful “Adult Swim” shindigs she and indie promoter Psyko Steve presented this past summer at the Hotel San Carlos’ rooftop pool. (The events were so crowded that the Phoenix fire marshal gave it the ax). Deveroux is equally as ambitious with her new weekly dance party Prep School, which is aimed at underage types. Hidden House hip-hop spinster Noah Wylie joins forces with a slew of electro DJs (including the Boom Kidz and Elwood) to get the party going every Friday evening inside the ballroom of the downtown Days Inn, 502 West Camelback Road. All ages are welcome, from 14 years on up, as no alcohol will be served. “I really want this to be the Party Foul! or the Shake! for the younger crowd,” she says. Party on, Jen. Doors open at 8 p.m. with a $10 cover. Visit www.myspace.com/prepschooldanceparty.
