From our sister paper in the Twin Cities comes news that Prince is launching a new web site to… well, that’s not exactly clear, but it will definitely promote and possibly distribute Prince’s three albums due this year. The best part of this blog post? The category: The Purple One. Turns out Prince is such a big deal in Minnie-St.Paulie that he gets his own category. Is there any local musician we cover enough to warrant such a grand extravagance? Feel free to chime in with derisive comments about our news judgment and/or knowledge of the local scene.
