The Psychedelic Furs may have gone next level when their song "Pretty In Pink" was used as the primary track in the classic '80s John Hughes flick of the same name, but the band, led by brothers Richard and Tim Butler, has been delivering its blend of new-wave-tinged post-punk since the late 1970s. "The Ghost In You," "Heartbreak Beat" and "Heaven" are among their slew of fan favorites you could hear when they roll into town.

The band just announced a fall world tour, stopping in Chandler on Sept. 27. Gary Numan, another heavy new-wave hitter, opens the show. Other opening acts on the tour include The Chameleons, The Church, and Rooney.

Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. on May 23. Presale ticket purchasing opened on May 22.
