Oh, how we love the Irish pub. It’s a great place to go to boast about one’s Irish lineage (or the lack thereof) while spouting off innuendos like “would you like some more Irish in ya?” It’s also the perfect place to enjoy a pint of Guinness and feign interest in soccer.

Mill Avenue has its share of Irish pubs, but Robbie Fox’s Public House really stands out thanks to its huge patio and menu. Okay, the patrons help too. School may be out for the summer, but the bar attracts lovely ASU types year-round.

There was no shortage of trendy tan, blond girls enjoying themselves on the patio. There were some brunettes as well, all soaking up the bar’s relaxing atmosphere or dancing to the duo of DJ Keeps and DJ Odi.

Guinness flowed in abundance amongst the plates of fish and chips and guests sipping on cocktails from the bar’s impressive Irish whiskey and Scotch list.

We enjoyed some Jameson and potato cakes while scoping out Robbie Fox’s crowd on Friday, June 8. Check it out in this week’s Club Candids slideshow.
