Tempe will do the mash at the end of October — the Monster Mash, a new festival announced by Lucky Man Concerts today.

On Friday, October 30, and Sunday, November 1, a slew of classic rock and modern-ish bands will come to Tempe Beach Park. Announced so far for the Friday date are Santana, John Fogerty, and Tedeschi Trucks Band. On Sunday, Linkin Park, Rob Zombie, Deftones, Halestorm, and Ghost are scheduled to play.

Single-day tickets go on sale Friday, June 5, for $99.

Now, the most glaring things about this aren't the two shows announced. It's the show Lucky Man hasn't announced yet. After all, Halloween is on a Saturday. If Lucky Man doesn't announce a major concert on Halloween night between now and October I'll do the cinnamon challenge, Ice myself, and drink a Bud Light Lime.

Stay tuned.
