I’m sure you’re all aware that tomorrow is election day, which I wouldn’t ordinarily type about up in this piece, but it’s made for some strange endorsements this year. Check out the video here, and you’ll see local music scene players like Jim Adkins of Jimmy Eat World, Will Anderson of AMJ Concerts, and Kimber Lanning of Stinkweeds Records pimping for Harry Mitchell (who’s running against incumbent congressman J.D. Hayworth). I’m down with political activism, but really, does anyone care who Katie Rose is endorsing? Or my homey Tim Kasher from Cursive (who’s from Nebraska, not Arizona)? I think it’s a tad fucking silly, myself.
