Show Announcements: Slipknot, The Maine, Dark Star Orchestra

By Martin Cizmar

Not a huge week for show announcements, what with the holiday and all, but we have a few, including Slipknot (with Coheed and Cambria!), Dark Star Orchestra and The Maine.

I'm most excited about The Maine, who will be at The Venue of Scottsdale the day after Christmas. Here's their video for the acoustic "Daisy" with the rest of your announcements on the jump. By the way, if you go over to The Maine's Myspace you can click links to follow them all on twitter, which I think is pretty cool. Not sure how real they keep it ("hooked up with anthr groupie. this 1 not as hott. oh wellz.") but could be interesting to read a rocker's microblog.
