Steve Aoki

Superstar spinner Steve Aoki has got plenty of connections and he ain't afraid to use them. The 32-year-old's record label, Dim Mak, has featured some of the best beat-makers in the business, including MSTRKRFT and The Bloody Beetroots. He's also part-owner of hip L.A. restaurant Shin with Julian Casablancas of The Strokes and Laura Prepon from That 70's Show, and both Kid Cudi and Lil Jon will be making guest appearances on his upcoming EP I'm in the House. Aoki's also hooked up with local DJ impresarios, as evidenced by his appearance at the Pussycat Lounge, 4426 North Saddlebag Trail in Scottsdale, on Thursday, April 15. DJ Steel will provide an opening set. Doors open at 9 p.m. and admission is $10 for guys. Call 480-481-3100.
