Assemble your squads, Arizona. Taylor Swift is coming to town.

The singer-songwriter announced the initial dates for her 2018 Reputation tour, which will kick off on Tuesday, May 8, at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale.

The announcement follows a great weekend for the pop star. Her new album sold around 700,000 copies in the U.S. on its first day of release, putting it on track to be Swift’s fifth No. 1 album on Billboard‘s charts.

Will you step up to support New Times this year?

At New Times, we’re small and scrappy — and we make the most of every dollar from our supporters. Right now, we’re $15,500 away from reaching our December 31 goal of $30,000. If you’ve ever learned something new, stayed informed, or felt more connected because of New Times, now’s the time to give back.

It’s an impressive feat, considering the controversy that’s dogged the singer recently — from her feud with Kanye West blowing up in her face to the public’s mixed reactions to Swift’s single “Look What You Made Me Do.”

But with strong album sales and a well-received music guest spot on SNL, it looks like Taylor Swift still has both feet firmly planted in the pop firmament. And local fans will get a chance to bask in her full Swiftian glory in May.

Tickets for the show will go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, December 13, via Ticketmaster.

Fans have a chance to purchase tickets in advance of the public sale via Taylor Swift Tix (a site powered by Ticketmaster Verified Fan). Registration for Taylor Swift Tix is currently open and runs through November 28.
