When the kind of band I usually go see plays the same setlist over and over, I get a little indignant. If Taylor Swift plays the same setlist Wednesday night that she did Tuesday at Jobing.com Arena, I’ll forgive her–when the grand finale involves a ticker tape parade, a bunch of dancers chasing a court jester, and fireworks, it’s probably tough to improvise. Part of her mid-show patter involved an acoustic interlude with a song she “hadn’t played in two years,” so you could be in for a little variation–but if you or your daughter (or your daughter, wink wink, but secretly you) are trying to avoid Red Tour setlist spoilers, don’t read on.

Critic’s Notebook: Last Night: Taylor Swift at Jobing.com Arena (Read the full review.) Personal Bias: I am a 26-year-old male, and felt a little awkward picking up one ticket at will-call. The Crowd: Dressed to impress, half with nice out-on-the-town ensembles and half with homemade Taylor Swift tour shirts. Random Notebook Dump: True devotion is climbing over two rows of (occupied) seats in a skirt to get a photo of your daughter at a Taylor Swift concert. Overheard in the Crowd: The high school or college-aged girls behind me, after each costume change: “She’s so cute!! Ugh!!!!”
