Entertainment Solutions, the company behind Tempe Music Festival, is planning to pull the plug on the long-running but still shaky Spring music festival at Tempe Beach Park — at least for this year.

No lineup had been announced for the event, which is scheduled for April 9 and 10, which was odd enough that I e-mailed a publicist a few weeks back. I was told it was coming soon, and had heard rmors Friday would be a “country” night. A person who answered the phone at ES, the company that runs the show, confirmed that it will be postponed until 2011. We’re trying to reach the Koziol brothers, who run the company, and we’ll have more information as it comes in.

In the meantime it’s worth asking if anyone really believes the festival will return in 2011 and what should be done about the Train Tracks finale, which is affiliated with the festival…
