Though they're still waiting to make a big splash in America, The Editors have been making waves in the U.K., earning them the headlining spot in this traveling circus of a tour. The British post-punk band follows in the steps of international rock sensations like Franz Ferdinand and Interpol but twists their danceable tunes with an aggressive delivery and the booming baritone of lead singer Tom Smith. The Editors are touring in support of their second album, An End Has a Start, which hit number one on the U.K. charts and has earned the band a Brit Award nomination for Best Group. But they aren't the only reason to stop by the Marquee for this show. Garage-rock perverts Louis XIV will be bringing their raunchy, T. Rex-inspired stage show, complete with a new string section and the same very cocky attitude. Hot Hot Heat will be bringing their brand of bubblegum indie rock, fresh from their fourth studio album, Happiness Ltd., rounding out the evening with their upbeat tunes, bouncy stage presence, and sing-along melodies.
