The Tempe-formed band, The Maine, has been rocking their pop and emo sound since they released their first EP in 2007, “Stay Up, Get Down.” It was closely followed by another EP that year, and in 2008, a full-length album
The band, featuring John O’Callaghan, Kennedy Brock, Jared Monaco, Garrett Nickelsen, and Pat Kirch, will hit the road in March for 26 stops across the country. The group is scheduled to kick off the tour in Vegas on March 24, and we will see them here in Phoenix the next night, March 25, at The Van Buren.
When they arrive, it’ll be over a year since they’ve played a local show. We last saw them at the 8123 Festival they hosted last January. That event was packed with great local and touring bands, including Veronica Everheart, Diva Bleach, Hellogoodbye and Grayscale.
The Pillar presale starts at 10 a.m. local time on Tuesday, December 9. The artist presale takes place at 10 a.m. local time on Wednesday, December 10, and the general on-sale is at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 12. Signups and tickets are all available on the band’s website.

In addition to touring, the band is working on its 10th studio album, with a release date to be announced.
