Support the independent voice of Phoenix and help keep the future of New Times free.
Things are looking pretty good for The Maine and This Century, who embark on two-month national tour today. Their first show tonight, at Slim's in San Francisco, is officially sold out, and that's quite a feat, considering the venue holds 400 people.
Both pop rock bands have been busy in the studio recording, with This Century putting the finishing touches on their new album at the end of last month in Los Angeles, and The Maine gearing up for the release of their new album Black and White next Tuesday, July 13. On Thursday, The Maine releases a new song, "Right Girl," and the band also recently filmed a video for "Inside of You"--pictures from the shoot may be seen here.
The buddy bands end the tour Friday, August 27 at The Nile Theatre in Mesa, but if you can't wait until then for your fix, check out this video This Century churned out while recording their new album.
