In tomorrow's new ish of the paper, I hang out with theBreadwinners
, a four-piece traditional bluegrass group that plays at the Loft in Tempe every Tuesday night. There ain't much bluegrass in these parts, but these four bring it with an authenticity you can't find anywhere else in the valley. Acoustic mandolin, banjo, guitar, and stand-up bass crowded around two microphones, with three and four part vocal harmonies - that's the way it ought to be done. Find out more in Revolver tomorrow and feel free to comment here.
