When the EDM gods close a door, they always open a window.

In a new announcement, Swedish House Mafia have dropped out of the 2025 Coors Light Birds Nest. In their stead, Dutch DJ and producer Tiësto will perform on the final day, Feb. 8. He’ll be joined by performances from Jelly Roll, Luke Bryan and Nickelback.

In a statement, Waste Management Phoenix Open Tournament Chairman Matt Mooney says, “We couldn’t be more thrilled to have Tiësto step in as our Saturday night headliner at the Coors Light Birds Nest. While, of course, Swedish House Mafia will be missed, Tiësto is an absolute legend in the world of electronic music and will undoubtedly bring an unforgettable energy to close out an incredible week.”

According to a rep from the WM Open (per Arizona Republic), Swedish House Mafia dropped out “due to personal reasons.” All tickets sold, however, are still valid.

While SHM’s absence will be noted, in some ways the inclusion of Tiësto is a lateral move if you love big, mainstream-adjacent EDM. Either way, the show must go on, and we’ve re-posted the Open’s pertinent details below.

What is the Coors Light Birds Nest?

The Coors Light Birds Nest is a four-night concert series held inside a 48,000-square-foot party tent near TPC Scottsdale. This 21-and-over event serves as an after-party for Phoenix Open attendees, offering “great music, beautiful patrons and enthusiastic partying.”

In other words, it mirrors the lively, often rowdy atmosphere of the WM Phoenix Open.

Each night, more than 6,000 guests enjoy performances by artists spanning rock, country, hip-hop and EDM. Previous Birds Nest headliners have included Snoop Dogg, Weezer, Blink-182, Dierks Bentley, Macklemore, Steve Aoki, Miranda Lambert and G-Eazy.

Gates open at 3:30 p.m. each day with opening performances at 6:30 p.m. followed by the headliner at 8:30 p.m.
