Tupac Shooter Allegedly Confesses

Dexter Isaac, who is already an inmate, confessed to the shooting. Isaac's shooting took place two years prior to Tupac's death. Isaac has claimed that he was hired to shoot Tupac by one of Tupac's associate MCs. He says James "Jimmy Henchan" Rosemond, the CEO of Czar Entertainment at the time, paid Isaac $2,500 to shoot Shakur while he left a New York studio. He stole some of Shakur's jewelry as well, most of which he says he still has in his possession.

Isaac, who was already an inmate in Brooklyn at the time he confessed, has been in jail for robbery, murder, witness intimidation and fraud.

He came forward to clear his conscience in honor of what would have been Tupac's 40th birthday.

"I want to apologize to his family," Isaac said in a recent interview. "I am trying to clean it up to give [Tupac and Notorious B.I.G.'s] mothers some closure."
