When VIVA PHX returns on Saturday after a seven-year hiatus, the downtown Phoenix music festival will pick up where it left off.

The one-day event, last held in 2017, will feature 70 acts and 12 different stages, including such notable indie acts as Cuco Cannons, Coco & Clair Clair, Provoker, The Walters, Mick Jenkins, Freddie Gibbs and Mavi.

VIVA PHX, which launched in 2014, is also celebrating its 10th anniversary and will feature an enormous block party, a beer garden and dozens of local food vendors.

When and where is VIVA PHX 2024?

VIVA PHX 2024 takes place on Saturday at multiple locations in downtown Phoenix. Here’s where stages are located at the festival:

VIVA PHX starts at 2 p.m. on Saturday.

How much are VIVA PHX tickets?

VIVA PHX tickets are available at vivaphx.com. General admission is $70 (plus taxes). VIP tickets are $170 (plus tax) and include fast-pass entry to each venue, access to an exclusive lounge and a VIVA PHX gift bag.

Where is the VIVA PHX box office and wristband pickup?

The VIVA PHX box office is located at Arizona Financial Theatre, 400 W. Washington St.

Light rail to downtown Phoenix

Multiple Valley Metro Rail stations are located in downtown Phoenix near VIVA PHX venues and stages. Fares are $2 per ride or $4 for an all-day pass.

Where to park

A multitude of parking options are within walking distance of VIVA PHX:
  • Street parking: Spaces are $1.50 per hour and meters are enforced 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Use the Parkmobile app to reserve and pay for individual parking spaces.
  • Parking structures: Dozens of structures and garages are located in downtown Phoenix. Prices vary.
  • Valley Metro park-and-ride: Free park-and-ride lots are available along the Valley Metro Rail route.

VIVA PHX age limits

VIVA PHX is an all-ages event. Certain venues and areas are strictly 21 and over, including the VIP lounge, Walter Studios and Gracie's Tax Bar.

Wristbands at VIVA PHX

VIVA PHX wristbands can be picked up at the box office next to Arizona Financial Theatre, 400 W. Washington St. Each wristband will allow access to each venue unless its at capacity. Lost or damaged wristbands cannot be replaced.

VIVA PHX bag policy

Bags up to 12 inches by 12 inches by 6 inches are allowed. Backpacks aren’t permitted. All bags are subject to search by security.

Where can I eat and drink at VIVA PHX?

VIVA PHX will offer food and drink from multiple award-winning chefs and vendors, including Bacanora, Progress, Pretty Penny, Bad Jimmy’s, Mi Catering, Otro Pizzeria, Cornish Pasty Co., Cocina 10, The REZ an Urban Eatery and Cartel Roasting Co. Downtown Phoenix also has a wealth of restaurants, bars and other dining destinations available.

Can I bring water to VIVA PHX?

Yes. You can bring one sealed bottle of water or an empty clear bottle to refill at water stations. Food and drink vendors will also have bottled water for purchase.

What else can I bring to VIVA PHX?
Sunglasses, sunscreen, hats, disposable e-cigs and vape pens are allowed at VIVA PHX, as are sealed packages of lip balm, gum or cigarettes.

What’s prohibited at VIVA PHX?

The following items aren’t allowed at VIVA PHX:
Outside food or drink
  • Weapons, projectiles or fireworks
  • Drugs or drug paraphernalia
  • Audio or video recording devices
  • Refillable juice or liquid vapes
  • Personal shade structures, tents or chairs
  • Coolers, cans and metal or glass bottles
  • Pets or non-service animals
  • Hula hoops, flow toys, glowsticks or LED
  • Wagons, bikes, carts or skateboards
