Think you know music? Got a strong opinion? Do you have a particular set of skills?

New Times is seeking music writers to write essays, hot takes, and other stories about the music world, both nationally and locally. We’re looking for writers who can turn a phrase, have a sharp intellect, and are passionate about writing. If you have deep knowledge about hip-hop or Latino music, that’s even better.

Interviews, criticism, and concert reviews are part of the game when it comes to freelancing for the music section. If you’re interested, please contact Music Editor David Accomazzo at david.accomazzo@newtimes.com. Please include a resume and examples of published work.
