Eastside Records is one of the last vestiges of the traditional American record store you’ll find in the Valley of the Sun. It has a loyal clientèle and remains one of the best spots to find obscure used vinyl. Even those hard to obtain, single-issue punk albums. Even though it’s in the heart of downtown Tempe, its best-selling list may not be what you’d expect. But, hey, local band Tokyo Electron slides in at number six, and classic Phoenix skate-punk band JFA is in at number two. Not too shabby.
1. Converge – Axe to Fall
2. JFA – To All Our Friends
3. RJD2 – The Colossus
4. Bouncing Souls – Ghosts on the Boardwalk
5. The Insects – Gone Pt. 1
6. Tokyo Electron – AZ 238
7. Lord Lemonsta – All Hail
8. Lars Frederiksen & The Bastards – Switchblade
9. Nekromantix – Dead Bodies
10. A Storm of Light – Forgive Us Our Trespasses
