$10,000

Maybe it’s just us, but the stale Mill Avenue nightlife scene has been in dire need of a shake-up recently. We’ve grown somewhat bored with the same old clubs pumping out the same old hip-hop and Top 40 tunes every weekend, and have longed for something better to come along. Enter Whip Lounge. Kinkiness abounds inside the swank and sexy environs of this posh new nightspot, located at 420 South Mill Avenue, which features a distinctive BDSM bent and a rock ‘n’ roll flair. A seductive slate of weekly events are scheduled to go down at Whip, like Leather + Lace Fridays, where DJ XXXclusive will spin rock tracks and mash-ups. Meanwhile, the joint’s other resident beatmeister, DJ Fashen, will be behind the decks during the equally erotic Whip Mondays. Doors open at 8 p.m. both nights. Call 480-967-8188 or visit www.myspace.com/whiplounge.
