Few people dispute that Wu-Tang Clan is the supergroup of the hip-hop world. The eight remaining members of the group — RZA, GZA/Genius, Method Man, Inspectah Deck, Raekwon, U-God, Ghostface, and Masta Killa — have all enjoyed some amount of individual success or notoriety, and it seems like everyone’s curious as to what kind of tribute Wu-Tang Clan will pay on this reunion tour to former member Ol’ Dirty Bastard, who died of a drug overdose in November 2004. Fear not — they haven’t changed the lyrics of a sappy ’80s stalker song to be about their fallen friend, like Diddy did for Biggie with The Police’s “Every Breath You Take.” The buzz from the band’s performances so far is that the tribute simply takes on the form of a killer show, chock-full of Wu-Tang favorites like “C.R.E.A.M.,” “Triumph,” “Protect Ya Neck,” “Uzi (Pinky Ring),” and “Bring da Ruckus.”
