Wu-Tang Forever: The Final Chamber is rolling into town on June 18 for a show at PHX Arena with openers Run The Jewels. The launch show happened on June 6 at the CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore.
Wu-Tang’s tour features all surviving members: RZA, GZA, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Method Man, Inspectah Deck, U-God, Masta Killa and Cappadonna. Rest in peace, Ol’ Dirty Bastard, and though he is gone, his son Young Dirty Bastard joined the rest of the crew.
This end of an era is as profound for fans as it is for the clan, which has been following their several-stage plan of winding down, which started before this tour, with events like a documentary and a residency in Vegas.
When the tour was announced, RZA talked about the group’s feelings in a press release. “This is a special moment for me and all my Wu brothers to run around the globe together one more time and spread the Wu swag, music, and culture. Most importantly, to touch our fans and those who have supported us throughout the years.”
