Z-Trip Remix of The Dead Weather’s “Treat Me Like Your Mother”

Z-Trip might not live in Arizona anymore — despite his inclusion on the Republic‘s list of the Valley’s most intriguing people — but he’s still one of the best DJs in the world.

I’m reminded of that fact by this remix of The Dead Weather’s “Treat Me Like Your Mother,” featuring a verse by Slug of Atmosphere, which So Much Silence shared in early February but which I didn’t get around to listening to until today. Count me among the people who thought The Dead Weather record pretty much sucked but who really appreciate what Z did with this track.
