Police are looking for a man they say robbed a Country Bank in Prescott Valley yesterday afternoon by basically walking into the bank and asking for cash.
The FBI’s bandit-naming department hasn’t dreamed up some crappy “bandit” moniker for this guy yet — we checked. But the “I-can’t-believe-it’s-that-easy bandit” has a nice ring to it.
Check out some of the federal fuzz’s prior bandit-naming handiwork here.
According to the Prescott Valley Police Department, the suspect — see
image above — entered the Country Bank in downtown Prescott at about
11:30 am yesterday.
Once inside the bank, police say the suspect demanded money from one of
the clerks. He didn’t show a weapon, but the clerk handed over the cash.
The suspect then fled on foot with the loot.
Police say the suspect was wearing a white shirt with three-quarter length sleeves and a “T2” logo on the back.
Anyone with info is asked to call the Prescott Valley Police department Criminal Investigations Section and ask for Detective Martin at (928)772-5142.
