Best Reader Caption for Joe Arpaio Bringing the "Birther" Brigade to Church: Eleanor

Congratulations to the New Times reader known as Eleanor Holguin, you've won this week's New Times You Write the Caption contest.

On Friday, we asked readers to write the caption for the above photo of Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio rounding up the "birther" brigade at church for another explanation of why he believes President Obama is from Africa.

We picked the five best captions, and put those up for a popular vote.

Eleanor Holguin beat out the rest of the field with the following:

"I thought this was the Bingo hall. Damnit, Martha, we got on the wrong bus again."

To retrieve your prize of a firm handshake and/or high-five, please mail your hand to (or come by and ask for) Matthew Hendley at 1201 East Jefferson Street in Phoenix.
