Ousted Senate President Russell Pearce is a believer in the old adage that “good people do stupid things sometimes.”

The problem is, Pearce was talking about Chris Simcox being the “good people,” and allegedly molesting multiple children being the “stupid things.”

Pearce made the comment to 3TV’s Dennis Welch, while Pearce talked about his associations with Simcox, and offered to “be a Second Amendment user” if someone molested his kids or grandkids — even if it was one of the “good” guys, apparently.
