It will be cool and breezy just in time for Halloween, as temperatures in Phoenix are expected to drop, according to the National Weather Service.
On Saturday, the Vally experienced what was likely its last 100-degree day of the year. The weather will finally feel like fall throughout the week. While temperatures still sat in the low 90s on Monday afternoon, a cold front will cool Phoenix down by the evening.
From then on, cooler temperatures will reign through Friday, with highs between the mid-70s to low 80s each day. There is even a slight chance for some rare rainfall on Tuesday morning, which will also bring windy conditions.

On Halloween itself, trick-or-treaters can expect a “pretty dry, tranquil Halloween,” NWS Phoenix Lead Meteorologist Isaac Smith said. “We’re going to have pretty nice conditions out there.”
On Oct. 31, the temperature is expected to peak at 82 degrees, with a low of 55 degrees. And no rain or windy conditions are anticipated to soak candy-hungry children or blow them about.

After a summer of record-breaking heat, an 82-degree Halloween is a pretty normal outcome. Since 1990, the average high on Halloween has been 81.5 degrees, while the average low is 58.6 degrees, according to NWS data.
