From what we can tell, Governor Jan Brewer didn’t do anything obnoxious to the President of the United States today.
It appears that the governor avoided embarrassing the state’s residents again, by choosing to keep her finger away from President Obama’s face on this occasion.

Will you step up to support New Times this year?
At New Times, we’re small and scrappy — and we make the most of every dollar from our supporters. Right now, we’re $17,250 away from reaching our December 31 goal of $30,000. If you’ve ever learned something new, stayed informed, or felt more connected because of New Times, now’s the time to give back.
Brewer’s staff tweeted around noon, “Met with @BarackObama this morning about federal assistance for the #YarnellFire, he assured me he would look into it. Meeting was positive.”
For verification, we took a look at some of the press pool photos — all of them show Brewer behaving, although you can’t tell exactly what she was saying, of course.
However, it looks like we’re all going to be free from national humiliation for the day.
