Time’s a wastin’, people. Hit those phones. Hit ’em hard.

The DREAM Act, proposed legislation that would legalize the status of undocumented students brought here when they were young, is being discussed on the floor of the U.S. House even as I type this. A vote in both houses of Congress is expected today.

The above video from videographer Dennis Gilman presents DREAM Activists telling their stories and challenging U.S. Senator from Arizona John McCain, and everyone really, to support the DREAM Act and put an end to Don’t Ask Don’t Tell.

Since the DREAM Act is on the front burner right now, those here Sand Land can express their opinions by jamming the phone lines of Congress, whether you’re pro-DREAM or con.

Well, to be honest, if you’re anti-DREAM, here’s hoping your cell phone spontaneously combusts and your land line is possessed by the ghost of Chris Farley, bent on ordering a pizza pie from the great beyond.

The Arizona DREAM Act Coalition has all the phone numbers for your Congressmen and Senators, here. Have at it. If the Dems can’t get this one past the Republican log jam during a lame duck session, they need to hang up their football helmets and take up shuffleboard instead.
