Now that Halloween is upon is, it was only a matter of time before someone wearing a costume was escorted to the Fourth Avenue Jail for booking.

This year, it’s Juan Jose Morales, who was dressed up as — something.

According to court documents obtained by New Times, a security guard at a Phoenix apartment complex found Morales shouting and punching a dumpster around 3:30 a.m. Sunday.

The security guard confronted Morales about that, and Morales pulled out a handgun and racked the slide — which made the security guard believe that Morales had just chambered a round, according to the documents.

Will you step up to support New Times this year?

We’re aiming to raise $30,000 by December 31, so we can continue covering what matters most to you. If New Times matters to you, please take action and contribute today, so when news happens, our reporters can be there.

Morales then proceeded to punch a window out of a car before the cops showed up and arrested Morales and his cousin, Nathan Gordoa — who was not costumed — on disorderly-conduct charges.

Now, the big question here is, what the hell was Morales supposed to be?

The best guess we’ve heard so far is Jack Skellington from The Nightmare Before Christmas.

However, we’re not ready to take rabid raccoon out of the realm of possibility.

Still, Morales could be a “juggalo,” which would mean it’s possible that this isn’t even a Halloween costume.

If anyone has an idea of what Morales is supposed to be, feel free to let us know in the comments section.
