Arizona Treasurer Dean Martin is holding a press conference this morning where he claims to have a “major announcement” regarding his candidacy for governor.
Governor Jan Brewer, according to the latest Rasmussen poll, has about a 27-point lead over not only Martin but any other candidate in the race.
Brewer got a big boost in popularity after passage of Prop 100 and signing SB 1070, so any major announcement Martin or any other candidate may have (assuming it’s not finding a dead hooker in the trunk of Brewer’s car) may be a little late.
