Phoenix New Times has an opening for a full-time social media editor. The ideal candidate will combine reporting, editing, writing, video, SEO, and social-media skills to grow New Times’ audience and serve as its online public face. The social media editor manages New Times’ Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts, with the expectation of continued engagement and growth.

The social media editor also promotes New Times’ content via strategic partnerships and outreach. A strong interest in and working knowledge of stories covered by New Times is essential. The job includes benefits.

Requirements: At least one year of experience reporting or doing social media work for a news organization.
