In Arizona, hundreds gathered in front of the Capitol to communicate their anger and displeasure about the Trump administration’s actions — its immigration crackdowns, shuttering of federal agencies and the unleashing of billionaire Elon Musk to disrupt the flow of federal funding.
Now, the 50501 movement is at it again, planning another Capitol protest on Feb. 17, which is Presidents’ Day. Or, as the protest is calling it, “No Kings on Presidents’ Day.”

Are there any other protests happening?
Protests have been abundant in Arizona since President Donald Trump took office. On Monday, protesters gathered in front of the Capitol to protest against Senate President Warren Peterson’s Arizona ICE Act. They’ve vowed to continue protesting every Monday until that bill is dead. The Phoenix branch of the Party for Socialism and Liberation has also been hosting many protests across the Valley.
