Rob Haney, Maricopa County Republican Party Chair, Worries That Sheriff Arpaio’s Being Unfairly Criticized by “Libs”

Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s under attack by crazy “big government libs” and needs your support.

This according to the bizarre worldview of Rob Haney, chair of the Maricopa County Republican Party. He feels so bad for Sheriff Joe Arpaio and three other conservative leaders who have taken criticism lately that he’s organized a rally to support them on Thursday.

Seems like nobody told Haney that Arpaio’s main problem right now isn’t “libs.” It’s the corruption within his office that’s being exposed by his own staff.

But Arpaio’s name still brings money into the Party treasury and the sheriff is locking up “illegals” — and that’s clearly what counts for blindly loyal supporters like Haney.
