Russell Pearce gets the stuck pig treatment in this CBA ad.
State Senate President Russell Pearce, a wholly owned subsidiary of sleazy fatcat lobbyists, with his hand out, ready to take pricey trips and football tickets for himself and his family, while cutting hundreds of millions of dollars in state aid to education and healthcare for kids.
That’s the message of this killer new video from Citizens for a Better Arizona, which will be playing on cable TV in Mesa starting Friday. Couldn’t come at a better time, what with a Tea Party plot to front a sham candidate in the Legislative District 18 recall election exposed in superior court today. (More on that in a later post.)
Kudos to CBA and keep ’em coming. If Pearce’s mom was still kickin’, I’d bet even she’d vote against him after seeing this blistering attack. The girl with the flowers at the end recalls the famous and highly effective anti-Barry Goldwater “daisy” ad from LBJ’s 1964 presidential campaign. Brilliant touch.
