Watermelons Are Just All Over Interstate 10

If you need to travel westbound through the Interstate 10 tunnel in Phoenix, bad news: There are a ton of watermelons all over the place.

If you need a watermelon, good news: There are a ton of watermelons all over the place inside the I-10 westbound tunnel.

As you can see from the photos, it looks like Gallagher was driving the watermelon truck today.

The Arizona Department of Transportation says one lane was open, but they've actually closed off I-10 at Seventh Street (at the time of this post.) Traffic was already backed up to 32nd Street when it was closed.

UPDATE 2:50 p.m.: Upon further inspection, ADOT has upgraded this situation from just watermelon, to full-blown fruit salad.
