Calistro California Bistro chef and owner Devin Walsh has made the decision to shutter the DC Ranch Crossing location of his farm-to-table Mediterranean restaurant.

Walsh opened the location in 2009. In February of this year, he opened a second location of Calistro California at Scottsdale Road and McDonald Drive in Scottsdale's Hilton Village.
So what now?
According to the Republic, Walsh closed the restaurant at the end of his lease and plans to expand the cocktail program in the new location to match the fresh and seasonal approach of his menu -- something that should keep mixologist Wayne Roemhildt busy behind the bar.
