Chef's Table next week at Cafe Zuzu

A friend and I were just complaining about the dearth of dining options on Mondays. But lookie here, it's a fun-sounding event on a Monday, of all things.

One week from today, on April 21, Cafe Zuzu at the Hotel Valley Ho hosts the latest in its Chef's Table series: The Beers of Four Peaks.

I'm more than happy to hit up Four Peaks for good bar grub, but this evening's menu sounds like a completely different kind of accompaniment for the local brewery's creations. Check it out... Duck Ravioli grilled eggplant + roasted red pepper puree

Asparagus Salad button mushrooms, avocado + hollandaise

Beef Shortribs Duncan's Farm beets, creamed parsley with horseradish + roasted Yukon gold

Shaft's Bleu Vein Cheese port jelly + cranberry walnut toasts

Dinner starts at 6:30 p.m., and is $48 per person, plus tax and tip. For reservations, call 480-421-7997.
