In McCormick Ranch and with outdoor dining patios overlooking Lake Marguerite, the locally owned restaurant and special occasion spot, which closed on Saturday, featured familiar American-style cuisine like steaks, chops, seafood, and pasta specialties.

Buster's was open for lunch, dinner, happy hour, and Sunday brunch in addition to featuring two private banquet rooms for celebrations and business meetings in a "resort casual" environment.

Buster's featured appetizers like tempura chicken tenders and clam chowder; main courses including grilled salmon, roast prime rib, and Chicken Sonoma; and desserts such as cheesecake and Mud Pie.

A final post on Buster's Facebook page had this to say:

"To all of our loyal customers and friends...

Thank you for your years of patronage. Thank you for making us a part of your lives, including us in your celebrations and allowing us the pleasure of serving you."

Thanks to a reader for the tip.
