The day has finally come potterheads...

It's over.

Come on, it's not like you didn't see it coming; exactly how many times can one boy be in "grave danger"? (The answer is seven.)

Whether you are already suffering from a bad case of separation anxiety after seeing the movie at midnight or your still trying to get caught up on the first seven, check out our five favorite Potter inspired desserts.

5. Golden Snitch Cake Pops (above) - enjoy fond Quidditch memories with these butterbeer cake pops. They may not win you the house cup but we bet they will fly off your table.
3. Acid Drops - We promise these will not burn a hole straight through your tongue.

2. Cauldron Cakes - These pretty chocolate cupcakes are filled with liquid luck, something we could all probably use every once in a while.

1. Homemade Butterbeer - Well, we couldn't leave out the one and only butterbeer. Mmmm, we wish we had a glass of the sparkly butterscotch flavor suds right now! You can also check out the Cooking Virgin making a batch of the brew. Click here to find out which butterbeer recipe was her favorite.

Keep Phoenix New Times Free... Since we started Phoenix New Times, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Phoenix, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Phoenix with no paywalls.
