We've got an all-star lineup of bakers making pies for you to taste, and from now till Pie Social, we'll introduce them to you, one by one.

Today: Katherine Dwight of Phoenix Public Market Cafe.

Although Katherine Dwight just moved back to town and began baking for Phoenix Public Market Café this month, she got her start at MJ Bread in Phoenix. After a brief stint in Chicago, she's back and ready to strut her pie stuff at this year's Pie Social. Despite being signed up by her bosses, rather than volunteering, she's excited to compete. Why? Well, Dwight let us in on her secret weapon -- she's been perfecting her pie game all summer. While she can't decide what she's going to make just yet, let alone the impossible task of picking a favorite pie, you can bet all that practice is going to lead to something phenomenal.
