No, it isn't your St. Patrick's Day hangover messin' with your head: Bink's Midtown, the restaurant from James Beard Award-nominated chef Kevin Binkley, will open this week in the former Sophie's Bistro space on Osborn.
The Republic reports Bink's Midtown's opening night will be Wednesday, March 20, (dinner-only until March 25) with Binkley's Restaurant sous chef Justin Olsen heading up the kitchen.
With ingredients sourced from local farmers, Bink's Midtown menu is a tight, veggie-heavy listing of mostly small plates along with starters, soups, salads, and entrees all under 20 bucks (see menu below).
There also are desserts like a butternut-squash ice cream pop, chocolate puddin' cake, and, the Republic reports, "a tangelo 'soup' frozen tableside with liquid nitrogen."
The relaxed bistro-style space, which seats roughly around 100 people, features a patio, a re-finished floor, and new lighting and dining furniture.
